Natural + Joyful Wedding Photography

I'm the kind of wedding photographer who loves to hang back and photograph what's naturally happening, looking for the little details that might not stand out in the moment but that make up the fabric of your day. 

The physical details of the room where you get ready. 

The emotional details, like the way you clench your hands while waiting for that first look. 

And the grand-scheme details, like the shadows stretching across the lawn during your reception.

When it's time to gather everyone for group photos, I'll take charge and direct people through the portraits everyone will want for posterity. 

But I'll also be watching for the moments that happen between them, the ring bearer gleefully stealing the flower girl's basket, the best man holding back tears during his toast, your closest friends dancing the night away with utter abandon.

And at the end, when you've been smiling more than your cheeks were prepared for and you're finally slow dancing, I'm the kind of photographer who steps back into the shadows and catches the way your head rests on his shoulder.

I'm a documentary-style, group-directing empath. I'll feel all the tender moments right there with you, while keeping an eye on the little things you might otherwise miss, preserving them for you to hold in your hands when you're celebrating your 10th... 20th... 50th anniversary.
