What kind of photographer am I?

level-headed and easy-going with a sense of humor.

I graduated with a BS in Art/Education, studying a variety of creative media - drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics & stained glass.  Essentially, all of my training has involved honing the ability to see beauty.  

Seeing beauty is what I now continue to do - I love to see your family, in all of their authentic, God-breathed loveliness.  

I am a proud recipient of a 2023 Best of SWMO photographer award.

I see the world in colors, patterns & textures, always looking for the best composition, the best balance and harmony so your photos are unique works of art.  

My first years after college were in a classroom, teaching high school Art.  I spent 4 years at Blue Eye High School then 7 years at Branson High School before staying home to be a mom.  The daily interaction in a classroom taught me to manage large groups of people effectively.

I pay careful attention to what the light is doing, how the background will frame you & if everyone is camera-ready. 

I prompt you into natural poses that show your best angles.  I use games and activities to highlight your natural expressions with your loved ones.

After 5 years of unexplained infertility, God gave us 4 beautiful daughters.  They are now 9, 7 & 5 years old with our last baby bringing up the rear at 3 months old.  

Spending these last 9 years as a stay-at-home mom have been incredibly rewarding (& challenging, of course!).  

I understand how deeply you love your own children.  It is a privilege to witness your bond with your family.
