The beauty of nature in the Ozarks includes open fields and creeks at Branson's Stockstill Park, bluffs on the lake at Dewey Short Visitor Center, the rocky shores of Indian Point campground, wooded trails winding through the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area and scenic spots on the College of the Ozarks campus.

Dewey Short Visitor Center sits beside the Table Rock Lake dam, with sweeping views of the lake and a variety of natural backdrops including an open grassy area and rocky shoreline for miles.

The College of the Ozarks campus has beautifully manicured grounds, blooming trees in the spring, green grass and a picturesque mill beside a pond with swans & ducks, sitting nearby a row of greenhouses.

Less than a half-mile hike on a gently hilly mulch trail leads to a varied setting that includes long rock walls, rustic buildings, stone steps and acres of wooded forest.  This location is best suited for fall photos with a rustic, earthy setting.

Located an hour from Branson, you'll find a dreamland of flowers blooming from April through September.  The magic continues from September through November when it becomes Pa's Pumpkin Patch for the fall.  There are open fields all year round and so much glorious beauty that makes it well worth the drive!
